The 2019 wedding season is just about over and I have finally caught up with editing and can actually start to blog again. This year has been a busy one and it’s so awesome looking back and realizing how many amazing people I had the pleasure to meet. The people and the stories that I get to capture is honestly the reason why I love this type of photography so much.
Sam and Marcs wedding was one of the most fun weddings that I have ever been to by far. They chose to have their wedding on Friday the 13th at Warehouse 109 in Plainfield and they had everything happen at the warehouse. I met up with Marc and the guys at the main patio area and we had a little bit of time before the ladies got there so I took Marc around for a bit to use some of the cool details that the Warehouse provides.
When we got the heads-up that the ladies were pulling up, I set up Marc for the first look and man was it a first look! The reaction that Marc had when he saw Sam for the first time was so amazing, you can just feel the energy that they have for each other in the air. After the eyes dried up, we chose to do as many photos as we can before all of the guests arrived.
Once the guests started to arrive, the bridal party walked over to Werkforce Brewing for a few drinks and to relax for a little bit before the ceremony. If you never have been to Werkforce, you are missing out. They have a really awesome style and they are very passionate about the beer that they are putting out!
After the brewery, it was time for the ceremony! Marc and Sam chose to do a unity painting with their little girl and read their own personal vows to each other which was so amazing and emotional. It was perfect!
The rest of the evening was spent dancing, laughing, and just having a great time. They opened up the large bay doors for a bit and the weather was perfect on the patio and the bonfire was a very nice touch! I am beyond happy for these two and it was such an honor getting to document their big day! Congratulations Marc and Sam!!
