Rustic engagement photos are absolutely some of my favorite images to capture and at Shannon and Sergio’s engagement session, it was a perfect setting. I have to start off that any time that couples choose to bring a puppy to their engagement session, I get super excited. I love all dogs big or small and Jordy was so amazing to have with us for the morning!
He had so much personality and had all of us laughing pretty much the entire time. All of us met Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve in Lemont on a cold winter morning but we timed it nearly perfect.
The sun was just coming up that helped warm us up and gave everything the beautiful glow of golden hour. There weren’t too many runners out just yet, (sidetrack, Sergio is trying out for the Olympics for running! He can run a mile in about 5 minutes! That’s unbelievable! If I could run a mile in 10 minutes I would be happy, Sergio would be cooled off and in the car before I get to the halfway point!) and we pretty much had the field to ourselves!
Some of the favorites that we captured during this engagement session were definitely the images with Jordy in them. It’s really awesome to see how amazing of a family they make when the three of them are together.
Whenever I would crouch down to get a different angle, Jordy would start running around and barking at me because he thought I was playing. This gave us some pretty funny images of Jordy trying to hide in the grass.
Getting to spend the morning with these three was so much fun and just getting to know them was such a pleasure and I am already looking forward to the wedding.
