Before the ceremony, I spoke with the pastor to check to see if he had any special rules that I wasn’t aware of and I found out that he was an avid bird watcher. Being a bird watcher myself, we started talking about some of our favorite birding spots. After we finished nerding out about birds, the ceremony started, and Jason could not take his eyes off his beautiful bride coming down that church aisle. Throughout the entire ceremony, Kristin would give Jason a smirk or Jason would reach down and would kiss her hand. They kept having these amazing little moments that made for fantastic candid photos, which made my job a lot easier!
After the ceremony, we headed over the Morris Country Club and had free reign of a bunch of golf carts, as well as most of the golf course. Looking back at the photos, I remember laughing so hard watching the bridesmaids and groomsmen bump each other as we would move to the next spot. They were definitely an awesome laid-back bridal party. The golf course had so many amazing spots, that we ended up using most of the cocktail hour. Kristin and some of her bridesmaids even had the chance to hit a few balls after one of the golfers let them borrow his clubs. Once we returned the carts, it was time for the reception!
The best man and the maid of honor gave some the funniest speeches I have heard to date, and I have heard quite a few speeches! After the music started and everyone started to break loose on the dance floor, the party really started! The dance floor was full as soon as the DJ pressed play and it was actually a little challenging to navigate the busy dance floor at some points. After hanging out for a couple of hours, it was time for me to say my goodbyes. This was one group that I would like to hang out with again! Hopefully, someone else from that group will get married soon!
Planning a wedding of your own? I definitely want to talk to you about it!
