Nina and Mikes late November County Line Orchard Wedding was simply amazing. They chose to have their special day at the County Line Orchard in Hobart, IN. You should have seen all of the details that this place had to offer; from the unbelievable silo where Nina chose to get ready, to the two story barn where they had their reception. If you are looking for a venue that offers a rustic feel, this place is for you. During the summer they have gorgeous rows of old growth apple trees and during the winter they have a beautifully lit and cozy dining area.
Being November, Indiana’s weather is as unpredictable as the Chicago weather. We found this out when a winter blizzard suddenly blew threw almost snowing us in. Thankfully, Nina and Mike were up for anything, so we took full advantage of the heavy snowfall and went outside for a quick session of photos. This session to date has been one of my favorite winter photo sessions. The snow was falling perfectly filling the frame of each image with insanely gorgeous snowflakes. Nina and Mike made such a great couple, it was hard to take a bad picture of these two.
Nina and Mike chose to have their first look on the secluded second level of the barn. Mike was so nervous awaiting his beautiful bride and he couldn’t stop smiling, but when he saw Nina for the first time, his reaction was priceless. All of the bridesmaids secretly watched from the silo, it is safe to say that there wasn’t a dry eye in the group.
This County Line Orchard Wedding ceremony took place in the beautifully lit barn where they had a short heartfelt ceremony with some of their closest friends and family. It was awesome to see how truly in love these two were and I am pretty sure they take their eyes off of each other the whole ceremony.
Scattered around the reception were unbelievably well done wooden details that Mike himself created. Everything from the vintage card chest to the rustic cake platform, this guy seriously has talent. The night finished off with a rowdy party in the barn where everyone danced and laughed until they had to go out and brave the cold. I know for me, it took me at least a half an hour to scrape off just my windshield. What a beautiful wedding for such an amazing couple. Here’s just a peek at the quick photo session that we did in the snow. If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to Contact Me!
